ANNA-MARGOT
Having studied
silver-smithing in Denmark and with the American Indians as well as
mastering the technique of lost wax casting and enamelling whilst in
California, Anna-Margot draws on all her learned methods to create the
jewellery and small sculpture, adding a new dimension to her work
through the use of the different techniques and the added dimension of
colour through the use of enamels.
Finding her inspiration in
the Australian bush, in living history through the renaissance period,
she also draws from Art Nouveau and fantasy to add extra excitement to
her one of a kind pieces.
At her own retail business
outlet Anna-Margot incorporates all aspects of her craft, including
custom jewellery and repair, enamelling, tools, lapidary supplies and
teaching.
Organising enamelling
symposiums and collating the M S & G magazine take up a lot of her time
which leads her to state;
"Enamelling is my passion.
Finding the time to pursue my Passion is my biggest frustration"
Ann-Margot is happy to
quote on one off commission pieces. Her work is on display at Brilliant
Facets Jewellery & Fine Art Gallery.
