EMMANUEL PENTIS
I have been a jeweller for
27 years and did my apprenticeship as a craft jeweller for W.F.COLE who
was a manufacturing jeweller in Brisbane. I graduated from college and
furthered my training with a German trained jeweller who specialised in
design and manufacture of finer quality jewellery.
I then studied in Germany,
Greece, France, Switzerland and Belgium for six months to gain a wider
spectrum of the international styles and designs and to broaden my
outlook. On returning to Australia I worked for a Jewellery manufacturer
in Redcliffe, then proceeded to open my own business in Mt Gravatt which
I ran for 6 years.
I now design and
manufacture for some of Queensland leading provincial jewellery stores,
as well as displaying and being the resident jeweller for Brilliant
Facets Jewellery and Fine Art Gallery. My speciality is remodelling and
repairing of all types of modern and old jewellery. Even though I prefer
making and designing classical style jewellery, I can be coerced into
modern style work and find this a challenge.
I welcome the opportunity
to discuss design and style and then make to customers specifications.
