Sculpture is the art
of taking a solid form and removing the unwanted parts, to reveal
the beauty the artist can see in his minds eye.
Sculpture can also mean the
reverse, when the artist builds a form from material such as clay or
wax to create the subject, then usually this is fired in a kiln or
molten metal is poured over the investment to create the finished
sculpture.
